Around Birmingham City Centre

During June/July 2006, DanDan and I took to the streets of Birmingham taking photos of the sights and places that we though would be of interest to the attendees of the 2006 YAPC::Europe Perl Conference, which Birmingham Perl Mongers were organising. I had planned to include photos on the website to help people figure out where they were and hopefully show that Birmingham wasn't the awful place some would have you believe.

At the time World Cup Fever had hit the city, and where High Street and New Street met the entrance to The Bullring, a hedge football had been placed.
